The 7 Division Nigeria Army in Borno state were able to attack 3 \u00a0separate Boko Haram camps within Bama, Gwoza and Pulka towns , Borno\u00a0State leaving several other terrorist with gun shot injuries<\/p>\n
In a press statement made available today and signed by the Spokesman\u00a0the 7th Division, Nigerian Army, Captain Aliyu Ibrahim Danja , Soldiers\u00a0foiled terrorists attempt at a simultaneous attacks on Bama, Gwoza and\u00a0Pulka towns in Borno state night of Sunday 13 October 2013.<\/p>\n
“Troops of 7 Division Nigeria Army has foiled yet another attack by Boko\u00a0Haram Terrorists aimed at inflicting havoc on Borno state prior to Sallah\u00a0festivities. The terrorists whom are of unknown strength attempted\u00a0coordinated simultaneous attacks on Bama, Gwoza and Pulka towns in Borno\u00a0state night of Sunday 13 October 2013.<\/p>\n
” Soldiers of 7 Division in anticipation however, successfully repelled\u00a0all the attacks killing 40 Terrorists in the 3 locations while several\u00a0others escaped with gunshot wounds”.<\/p>\n
The spokesman said Soldiers also destroyed a pickup vehicle loaded with\u00a0Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) meant for destruction of Bama town\u00a0during the encounter.<\/p>\n
In a related coordinated attack by the Nigerian Air force in collaboration\u00a0with ground troops according to Captine Danja , Boko haram elements and\u00a0their assets were successfully neutralized at Kilani general area of the
\nstate.<\/p>\n
