The Northern Emancipation Network, a northern youth group has advised\u00a0President Goodluck Jonathan to reinforce his administration’s war against\u00a0corruption by making Major Hamza Almustapha head of the Economic and\u00a0Financial Crimes Commission.
\nAt a press conference addressed by it’s Coordinator, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman,\u00a0the group described Almustapha as a brave, fearless and honest\u00a0intelligence officer capable of taking the administration’s corruption war\u00a0to the desired level.
\n“While we commend Mr President’s committed war against corruption, we\u00a0advise him to reinforce the EFCC with an equally committed and dedicated\u00a0head like Major Hamza Almustapha who is capable of moving the graft war to\u00a0the desired level, ” Suleiman said.
\nHe pointed out that already, corrupt politicians particularly the bankrupt\u00a0northern political leadership are jittery with the release of Almustapha\u00a0whom they persecuted unjustly for 14 years.
\nAccording to the group, even after going through 14 years of unjust\u00a0persecution in the hands of these people, Almustapha is not an officer\u00a0known to harbour vengeance and will therefore carry out the corruption war\u00a0unbiased though without fear or favour.
\n“Driven by a burning desire to reinvent Nigeria and it’s battalion of\u00a0neglected and deprived young people, Almustapha could fearlessly confront\u00a0the embarrassing official corruption in the country and bring it to it’s\u00a0knees, ” Suleiman said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
