Military Forces in Borno State\u00a0 says it shot dead\u00a0 nine suspected Boko
\nHaram terrorist yesterday night\u00a0 in\u00a0 Rimanti- Alagarno Village Damboa
\nlocal government area of Borno state.<\/p>\n
The terrorist who were said to have been killed inside their camp left
\nmany other fleeing members seriously injured .<\/p>\n
Spokesman of the Military in Borno State,Lt. Col Muhammad Dole confirm the
\nincident in a\u00a0 statement today.<\/p>\n
” In\u00a0 a midnight encounter with the Boko Haram terrorists,\u00a0 the Nigerian
\nArmy, 7 Division killed nine Boko Haram terrorist, while others fled with
\nvarious degree of injuries along Rimanti-Alagarno road in Damboa local
\ngovernment area of Borno state on Thursday 14th November 2013.” Dole said.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0 spokesman added\u00a0 that\u00a0 ” a soldier sustained injury during the
\nencounter with the terrorists and he is currently responding to treatement
\nat University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH).”<\/p>\n
“During the encounter\u00a0 large arms and ammunitions were and 2 pick up
\nvehicles are destroyed, while a pick up vehicle, 3 motorcycles were
\nrecovered. The Spokesman said<\/p>\n
The spokesman stated that the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army has
\nintensified patrol in the deep forest of Damboa and Gwoza local government
\nareas of Borno state, in remote and isolated villages and towns with a
\nview to prevent incessant attacks by the insurgents.<\/p>\n
He said the insurgents were frustrated by the attacks launched on their
\ncamps and their arms\u2019 and vehicle destroyed and that the military is
\nclosing a rank on them.<\/p>\n
Lt. Col. Dole stated that the General Officer Commanding, the 7 Division
\nof the Nigerian Army, Major General Obidah Ethan commended the general
\npublic and residence in particular for their\u00a0 cooperation and their
