{"id":22204,"date":"2014-01-31T21:57:39","date_gmt":"2014-01-31T20:57:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=22204"},"modified":"2014-01-31T21:57:39","modified_gmt":"2014-01-31T20:57:39","slug":"pdp-chairman-muazu-meets-ibb-in-minna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/pdp-chairman-muazu-meets-ibb-in-minna\/","title":{"rendered":"PDP Chairman Mu\u2019azu Meets IBB In Minna."},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"messagecontent\">\n<div>\n<div id=\"messagebody\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Alhaji Adamu Mu\u2019azu on Friday held a closed-door meeting with former Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida, in continuation of his nationwide consultation with elders of the party.<\/p>\n<p>Mu\u2019azu, who led a 15-man team, arrived the Minna Uphill residence of the former Military President at about 12.05pm and went into a closed-door meeting, which lasted till 1.05pm.<\/p>\n<p>Members on the entourage of Mu\u2019azu, which included the PDP National Youth Leader, Alhaji Abdullahi Maibasera; former House of Reps Speaker Gali Na\u2019aba and the state PDP acting chairman, Tanko Beji, were excused from the meeting to enable the two leaders to have a confidential and private session.<\/p>\n<p>Emerging from the meeting, Babangida declined to speak with journalists on the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The former leader bluntly told newsmen that he was not prepared to talk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am not going to say a word. I am not talking,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Muazu said he was in Minna as part of his reconcilatory move and in continuation of his meeting with some elders of the party since he emerged as the chairman of the ruling party.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cI am here in continuation of my visit to our elders and I had a fruitful meeting with the former President. It was a fruitful meeting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mu\u2019azu, while declining to give details of the meeting, said, \u201cWhat we discussed is not meant for public consumption.
