Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has charged retired public
\nofficials to avail the country of their experience, expertise, knowledge
\nand wisdom in handling developmental issues.<\/p>\n
Besides the governor enjoined politicians to play by the rules devoid of
\nrankle, and violence.<\/p>\n
Governor Uduaghan who gave the charge this yesterday [21-02-14] at a civil
\nreception hosted by Ibusa community in honour of Vice Admiral Dele Joseph
\nEzeoba [Rtd], the immediate past Chief Of Naval Staff, stated that the
\ncountry was passing through challenging times and would need to tap into
\nthe expertise, advice and experience of those who have been at the helm of
\naffairs to seek for solutions .<\/p>\n
According to him \u201cwe are in very challenging times that we need the
\nexperience and advice of the people who have been at the helm of affairs
\nin this country\u2026.. Nigeria needs your expertise. \u201c<\/p>\n
\u201cDelta State needs your wisdom and knowledge especially in the area of
\nsecurity. You know that one of our three point agenda is peace and
\nsecurity. I will soon be calling on you to avail us of your experience and
\nexpertise in tackling security issues\u201d.<\/p>\n
He advised politicians against overheating the polity stating that \u201cpower
\nbelongs to God and he gives it to whom he pleases, we should prevent
\nresorting to violence and shedding of blood as no position is worthy human
\nlife\u201d.<\/p>\n
While commending the Obuzor of Ibusa, Prof. Louis Nwoboshi for his
\nhandling of the affairs of the community, Dr. Uduaghan charged the people
\nof Ibusa especially the elites to intervene and solve their communal
\nproblems in-house.<\/p>\n
He emphasised that \u201cIbusa has produced great men and women who have excel
\nin various fields, I want to appeal to Ibusa people especially these
\nelites to cooperate and solve their problems without government
\nintervention\u201d.<\/p>\n
He commended Vice Admiral Dele Joseph Ezeoba [Rtd] for his meritorious
\nservice to the nation and Delta State stating that he left his marks in
\nthe sands of time as Chief of Naval Staff.<\/p>\n
In his Remarks, Vice Admiral Dele Ezeoba [Rtd] commended Dr. Uduaghan for
\ndevelopmental vision for Delta State and urged deltans to support him to
\nsucceed in this regards.<\/p>\n
While promising to continue to work for infrastructural projects in the
\ntown, Vice Admiral Ezeoba [Rtd] called for mutual cooperation and love
