A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia state, Chief
\nFriday Nwosu has described the recent election of Gov. Theodore Orji as
\nthe chairman, South East Governors\u2019 Forum as historic and well deserved.<\/p>\n
In an interview with our correspondent, Nwosu who said the election is a
\ntestimony to the laudable achievements of the governor and the
\nstabilizing role he is playing in the zone, added that with the election,
\nthe South East zone has been sealed and delivered to the PDP in the 2015
\ngeneral elections.<\/p>\n
\u201cAbians are grateful to the governors and other stakeholders of the zone
\nfor the recognition accorded our first citizen. We rejoice with Gov. Orji
\nfor this historic election. It is a confirmation of the fatherly role he
\nis playing in the zone as well as his legacy achievements in Abia state.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nwosu who is a legal practitioner hinted that the election came at a time
\nthe South East Governors\u2019 Forum needed a grassroot mobilizer like Gov.
\nOrji as the 2015 elections draws near.<\/p>\n
He commended the other governors for the peaceful election and enjoined
\nthem to rally round their new chairman as s well as President Goodluck
\nJonathan to protect the interest of the zone in the politics of the
