{"id":25416,"date":"2014-04-14T20:14:39","date_gmt":"2014-04-14T19:14:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=25416"},"modified":"2014-04-14T20:15:37","modified_gmt":"2014-04-14T19:15:37","slug":"i-wont-join-issues-with-fayemi-says-fayose","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/i-wont-join-issues-with-fayemi-says-fayose\/","title":{"rendered":"I won&#8217;t join issues with Fayemi says Fayose"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The governorship standard bearer \u00a0of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti state, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has said that he will not join issues with his All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart in the June 21 governorship election.<\/p>\n<p>Fayose challenged his critics, who were currently accusing him of corruption<br \/>\nand other sundry vices while in office to come up with fresh allegations.<\/p>\n<p>The PDP flagbearer, while speaking with newsmen at the weekend, challenged his critics, who are currently accusing him of corruption and other sundry vices while in office, to come forward with fresh allegations because the old ones against him have been sufficiently addressed.<\/p>\n<div>He said his decision was not a sign of weakness but a sign of maturity which he claims he has gained over the years.<\/div>\n<p>Fayose said, \u201cI have vowed not to join issues with anyone on any matter between now and June 21.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is to show that Ayo Fayose is now more matured than his first term in<br \/>\noffice as the governor of Ekiti.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am going to focus on politics of issues.
