Umar Haruna Doguwa emerging as the consensus candidate as the state chairman of the party.<\/p>\n<p>Other principal officers who emerged through consensus were Alhaji Ali Danmaraya, Vice Chairman; Alhaji Rabi\u2019u Bako, Secretary; Hon. Abbas Sani Abbas, Assistant Secretary; Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, Vice Chairman Central; Alhaji Sule Lawan Ligge, Vice Chairman North; Alhaji Abdulkarim Mohammed Gaya, Vice Chairman South.<\/p>\n<p>Others include Alhaji Muntari Sale, Financial Secretary; Hon. Sunusi Haruna Mohammed Falali, Legal Adviser; Hon. Sule Shuwaki, Youth Leader, Comrade Sale Lili, Welfare Officer; and Hajiya Habiba Yandalla as Women Leader.<\/p>\n<p>On the whole officers were elected in the exercise that lasted for about seven with 3069 delegates drawn from the 44 Local Government Area of the state.<br \/>\nCongress Committee chairman who came from National Secretariat of the party, Dr. Mustapha Inuwa said all the political blocs that formed Kano APC met before the congress and agreed on consensus candidates.<\/p>\n<p>Prominent among those in the congress include Governor Rabi\u2019u Musa Kwankwaso, his Deputy, Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, former Deputy Governors of the state, Magaji Abdullahi and Abdullahi Tijani Gwarzo, Hon. Ado Alhasan Doguwa, Senator Ibrahim Kabiru Gaya, Hon. Abdulralman Kawu Sumaila.<\/p>\n<p>Others include Hon. Nasiru Ali Ahmed, Alhaji Ahmed Garba Bichi, Alhaji Aminu Dabo, Alhaji Yusuf Ali, Commissioners serving under Governor Kwankwaso, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Hon. Nasiru Ahmed representing Nasarawa Constituency in the House of Representatives who spoke to Pointblanknews.com at the venue of the congress said, \u201cas you can see, everything is going on fine. Today is a very very joyful day for us here in Kano.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverybody is very happy, all the delegates are here and as you can see, everything is going on smoothly.
