{"id":26047,"date":"2014-05-02T17:29:32","date_gmt":"2014-05-02T16:29:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=26047"},"modified":"2014-05-02T17:29:32","modified_gmt":"2014-05-02T16:29:32","slug":"medical-student-auctioning-off-virginity-highest-bidder-at-550000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/medical-student-auctioning-off-virginity-highest-bidder-at-550000\/","title":{"rendered":"Medical Student Auctioning Off Virginity, Highest Bidder At $550,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An American medical student is auctioning off her virginity to the highest bidder, and although the top offer currently stands at $550,000 \u2013 she says she does not need the money.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Using the alias \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.elizabeth-raine.com\/placing_a_bid.html\" target=\"_blank\">Elizabeth Raine<\/a>\u201d and operating a blog entitled, \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/musingsofavirginwhore.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Musings of a Virgin Whore<\/a>,\u201d the 28-year-old self-proclaimed virgin said she is willing to submit to a medical examination or polygraph as proof to the winning bidder, which will be determined when bidding concludes on May 7.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The blonde \u201cMed School Virgin\u201d writes that she has attended \u201cexcellent private schools,\u201d has a bachelor\u2019s degree and is currently a student in a combined MD\/PhD program at a \u201cleading university.\u201d The auction website \u201cAbout Me\u201d section says that she was born in the U.S. but spent much of her time growing up abroad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She writes on her blog that she is not using the auction \u201cto earn status, money, or feed my own ego.\u201d However, she does note that she obviously wants the financial benefit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Her height is listed as 5\u201910\u201d and her weight as 130 lbs, with blonde hair and green eyes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI approach people with warmth and curiosity, and I am careful not to overlook anyone. I have found the most complex and wonderful individuals are rarely the most obvious ones,\u201d reads one of her self-described details.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI hate to plan life, and instead embrace its mysteries and twists, in addition to its breathtaking moments,\u201d she describes, although she said she has been planning the auction for one-year and is \u201cmore educated about prostitution, virginity and slut-shaming.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nevada is currently the only state in the U.S. where prostitution is legal. She will reportedly engage in the sexual intercourse in Australia as a way of circumventing American prostitution laws.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the course of a self-interview posted to the website, Raine says she does not care about being labeled a prostitute by some, and she describes that while she does not advocate prostitution she supports the \u201cdecriminalization and destigmatization\u201d of the world\u2019s oldest profession.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She quotes late comedian George Carlin\u2019s thoughts on prostitution: \u201cWhy should it be illegal to sell something that is perfectly legal to give away?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She says she has no \u201cmoral objection\u201d to the auction, and says she operates from her own moral code \u201cfounded on a world of education and human emotion.\u201d She writes that her virginity \u201chas never been anything less than a source of personal freedom and power, even prior to placing it up for auction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She has promised to donate 35 percent of the auction proceeds to a charity \u201cthat brings education to women in developing countries.\u201d She adds that she is not making such a gesture due to guilt, but instead because she doesn\u2019t need all the money.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Writing on her blog, she says she will not release \u201cthe single smallest detail\u201d about the highest bidder for her virginity, and that she is intrigued by the \u201cmysterious\u201d adventure awaiting her, and she noted to critics that she will surely be \u201cmore enlightened in one particular area\u201d of her life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to her bidding rules, each bidder must come forward with a non-refundable sum of $100 through a PayPal account.
