Isa Gusau, an Aide to Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State has
\nconfirmed a\u00a0 list of 53 Chibok schoolgirls who escaped abduction from
\nsuspected\u00a0 Boko Haram Militants.<\/p>\n
46 of the girls are Christian while seven are Muslims .<\/p>\n
Gusau confirmed the 53 names today over the phone and stating the
\n“religion should not be part of the sentiment to ensure rescue of missing
\ngirls<\/p>\n
“The list includes those who escaped on the night of their capture at the
\nGovernment Secondary School Chibok, Borno State on April 14, as well as
\nthose who escaped from the Boko Haram camps where they were being held.<\/p>\n
“Seven of the girls are Muslims, while the remaining 46\u00a0 are Christians,
\naccording to information provided by their parents.<\/p>\n
“The Muslims girls names are :\u00a0 Habiba Yahya, Zarah Umoru, Hadiza Hamidu,
\nHauwa Ibrahim, Yagana Musa, Aishatu Usman and Hamsatu Umoru.<\/p>\n
” The 46 Christians who escaped are Amina Thlawur, Binawi Galam, Lucy
\nDzakwa, Hauwa Thlawur, Kwanta Isa, Asabe Yaga, Hauwa Musa, Hauwa John,
\nHannatu Joshua, Amina Yaga, Sarah Amos, Kauna Bitrus, Dinna Lawan, Hauwa
\nSani, Luggwa Yahi, Hamatu Ibrahim, Pogu Bullum, Sanya, Nkeki Duds, Hannatu
\nIliya, Saratu Musa, Solomi Yakubu, Mary Katambi, Awa Thlama, Mary Yaga,
\nGodiya Simon, Rejoice Yaga, Falmata Mutah, Patience Bulus, Dorcas Musa,
\nMercy Paul, Rahap Pogu, Rifkatu Halai, Thlama Walla, Deborah Ishaya,
\nHadiza Kwakwi, Filo Dauda, Amos Mufah, Naomi Lawan, Asabe Nkeki, Hadiza
\nYama, Kuma Ishaku, Solomi Bitrus, Ladi Nkeki, Rahap Yaga and Comfort
