{"id":27980,"date":"2014-06-15T18:56:16","date_gmt":"2014-06-15T17:56:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=27980"},"modified":"2014-06-15T18:56:16","modified_gmt":"2014-06-15T17:56:16","slug":"national-convention-mark-congratulates-apc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/national-convention-mark-congratulates-apc\/","title":{"rendered":"National convention: Mark congratulates APC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>&#8212;&#8212;-tasked them on nation building<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Senate President Senator David Mark has sent a message of congratulation to the new leadership of All Progressive Congress (APC)\u00a0 over their emergence at the last weekend&#8217;s National Convention in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Mark in the congratulatory message urged the Chief John Odigie Oyegun led National executive to put the interest of the nation above personal or party interest .<\/p>\n<p>He stated:&#8221;Whichever political divide we may belong, what must of a necessity be paramount is the survival of our country under a democratic dispensation. I know chief Oyegun as a patriotic Nigerian who would strive to make our society a better place.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; I can only remind him not to deviate from this path of Honour.\u00a0 What ever makes for good of the country and her people should without compromise be his watch word.
