{"id":28049,"date":"2014-06-17T14:04:07","date_gmt":"2014-06-17T13:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=28049"},"modified":"2014-06-17T14:04:07","modified_gmt":"2014-06-17T13:04:07","slug":"okocha-blames-keshi-for-draw-against-iran","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/okocha-blames-keshi-for-draw-against-iran\/","title":{"rendered":"Okocha blames Keshi for draw against Iran"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former Nigeria international Austin \u2018Jay Jay\u2019 Okocha, has said that coach Stephen Keshi should be blamed for the Super Eagles goalless draw against Iran, in their opening Group F match.<\/p>\n<p>The African champions struggled to break down Carlos Quieroz\u2019s team and were spared the embarrassment of defeat, by a spectacular Vincent Enyeama save.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Okocha blamed the drab display on Keshi\u2019s tactics and the substitutions he made during the game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKeshi should be held responsible for the way the team played,\u201d Okocha said. \u201cBefore the match he said African teams are tactically not disciplined and he did not bring anything new to the table.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis changes were poor. He took out Moses and brought in Ameobi. I think that was a wrong change.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe saw how Osaze came in and showed a lot of creativity. That is the kind of thing we expected.
