In a statement by the chief press secretary to the governor Ugochukwu Emezue,he decribed the story by one Odimegwu Onwumere,who claims to be a poet as an attempt to rubbish the image of chief Theodore orji. While stating that the story is false in its entirety, Mr Emezue maintained that the writer of the piece used a pseudo name in order to hide his identity.<\/p>\n

According to him, the failed politician who is masquerading as odimegwu Onuwmere, a poet, cannot stand the towering profile of chief T.A.Orji which is on the rise daily as a result of his well programmed projects, being executed to better the lots of Abians.<\/p>\n

Mr, Emezue hinted that the one billion naira loan secured by the state government\u00a0 for farmers which was flagged off by the Minister of Agriculture last month, cannot be fake as farmers in the state have started benefitting from it.<\/p>\n

According to Emezue, the state government is doing everything to ensure that those benefiting from the loan are real farmers\u00a0 in the state.<\/p>\n

Presently, the money is being released in phases with nine (9) local governments assessing the loan. Mr ,Emezue assured, that genuine farmers in the state who had applied for the loan will definitely benefit from it, stressing that all information concerning the release of the loan has been in the public domain since the exercise started.<\/p>\n

Mr, Emezue said that chief Theodore Orji who recently distributed free cocoa seedlings and other implements to Abia\u00a0 farmers, will not be distracted by those who do not wish Abia well, having lost out in the power equation.<\/p>\n
