{"id":28262,"date":"2014-06-22T18:50:25","date_gmt":"2014-06-22T17:50:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=28262"},"modified":"2014-06-22T18:50:25","modified_gmt":"2014-06-22T17:50:25","slug":"senate-president-congratulates-ayo-fayose","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/senate-president-congratulates-ayo-fayose\/","title":{"rendered":"Senate President congratulates Ayo Fayose"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>&#8230;&#8230;urges him to be father to all<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>President of the Senate, Senator David Mark has sent a message of congratulation to the governor-elect of Ekiti State, Peter Ayo Fayose of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over his victory at Saturday&#8217;s governorship election.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Senator Mark also commended security operatives and the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) for the smooth conduct of the election.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In the message, Senator Mark told Fayose to justify the mandate of the people by embarking on projects and programmes that would have direct positive impacts on the citizens of Ekiti State.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>To do so successfully, he urged the governor elect to bring all interest groups on board and ensure that no section of the State would feel shortchanged or marginalised in the scheme of things.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>According to Mark; &#8220;your victory at the poll shows that the people of Ekiti State clearly endorsed your candidature. It is therefore your responsibility to reciprocate this mandate by serving them honestly and effectively.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;The people of Ekiti desire to see functional education system, effective health care facilities, infrastructural development as well as employment opportunities for the youths.
