\nChairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, popped
\nnon alcoholic champagnes to celebrate the land slide victory of Governor
\nelect Ayo Fayose of the PDP over the Dr. Kayode Fayemi of the All
\nProgressive Congress APC.<\/p>\n
The trio and other members of the PDP Government met Sunday to review the
\nvictory and decided to celebrate the land slide victory which analyst
\nbelieved marked the beginning of the end of APC dominance in the South
\nWest.<\/p>\n
Sources told pointblanknews.com that the hierarchy of the PDP, beside the
\ncelebration, discussed strategy to adopt in winning the next Governorship
\nelections in Osun State relying on the Ekiti victory and the current
\ncracks within the APC.<\/p>\n
Pointblanknews.com gathered that leaders of the PDP are bent on ensuring
\nthat hitherto controlled PDP states in the South West are won back in
\nsubsequent elections.<\/p>\n
The strategy, according to a source familiar with ongoing meetings,
\nincludes harmonizing factions in Ogun, Osun and Oyo State which were PDP
\nstates and ensuring that only credible and accepted candidates are fielded
\nfor election.<\/p>\n
“We are using the Ekiti as an example. We fielded Fayose, a man loved by
\nhis people from the top to bottom and it paid off. That is the way we will
\nhenceforth go. We will capitalize on Ekiti victory and fix our party in
\nother opposition states where we have potentials to win,” a source who
