The ancient commercial city of Kano has yet witnessed another
\nterror-attack as a suicide bomber broke into School of Hygiene Monday
\nafternoon, killing eight and wounding
\nmany.<\/p>\n
School of Hygiene No fewer than eight people lost their lives and many
\ninjured when is located opposite Sabo Kofar, along BUK Road.<\/p>\n
Mr. Adenrele Shinaba, Kano state Commissioner of Police confirmed the
\nincident which occurred around 2:30 P.M. to Pointblanknews.com.<\/p>\n
According to him, eight people died in the blast, adding that \u201cthe wounded
\nhave been taken to hospitals for treatment as I am talking to you and we
\nare doing our best to put the situation under control,\u201d the Police boss
\nadded.<\/p>\n
Shinaba also urged residents to remain security conscious and report
\nsuspicious movement to police and other security agencies.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know that it was about time students closed from school and were
\nabout going home. The human traffic was hectic when the incident occurred
\nand I believe many people must have lost their lives.<\/p>\n
\u201cI saw about 10 dead bodies and buses were taking dozens of wounded
\nstudents to the hospital. It was a sad experience,\u201d an eyewitness told
\nPointblanknews.com.<\/p>\n
Another person who identified himself as Peter also said that the sound of
\nthe blast was deafening, \u201cI was at a corner near Rumfa College when I
\nheard a deafening sound. On getting close to the area, I saw dead bodies
