{"id":29481,"date":"2014-07-26T13:14:20","date_gmt":"2014-07-26T12:14:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=29481"},"modified":"2014-07-26T13:14:20","modified_gmt":"2014-07-26T12:14:20","slug":"mark-greet-muslims-sallah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/mark-greet-muslims-sallah\/","title":{"rendered":"Mark greet Muslims @ Sallah"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8212;&#8211;urges collective action to end terrorism<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">President of the Senate, Senator David Mark has sent a message of Felicitation to Muslim faithful in Nigeria as they join the rest of the world to celebrate this year&#8217;s\u00a0 EID EL-FITR marking the end of the Ramadan fast.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Senator Mark in a goodwill message in Abuja\u00a0 congratulated them for the successful\u00a0 completion of the fasting and prayer which he said the nation most desires at this trying times.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">He lamented the unabating security challenges the country is facing at the moment and called for collective action of all citizens against the terrorists to end the menace.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">According to Senator Mark: &#8221; the prevailing situation does not call for blame game but a collective action of all citizens against the terrorists. We should have confidence on our security operatives and encourage them to do more.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;The Unfolding scenario clearly indicates that the terrorists have declared\u00a0 open war on every body and there seems to be no safe heaven any more. This is a challenge we must unite to tackle.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;One way out of this quagmire is to have a common approach\u00a0 against terrorists irrespective of political , ethnic or religious affiliation. What is paramount now is our collective survival as a people and nation. This is our fatherland.
