{"id":30933,"date":"2014-09-05T22:41:05","date_gmt":"2014-09-05T21:41:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=30933"},"modified":"2014-09-05T22:41:05","modified_gmt":"2014-09-05T21:41:05","slug":"jonathan-raises-panel-national-conference-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/jonathan-raises-panel-national-conference-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Jonathan Raises Panel On National Conference Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">President Goodluck Jonathan has raised a panel comprising mostly members<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, to study the report of the just<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">concluded National Conference and draw up implementation strategy.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A statement signed by Mr. Oise Johnson from the office of the Secretary to<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">the Government of the Federation, SGF, said while the committee is<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">expectedly to take off immediately, it will advice Government on all<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">matters necessary for the implementation of the report.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The statement reads:<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">APPOINTMENT OF PRESIDENTIAL COMMITTEE ON 2014 NATIONAL CONFERENCE REPORT<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">His Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, has approved the composition of a<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Presidential Committee to study and draw up the Implementation Strategy<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">for the 2014 National Conference.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2.The Committee is composed as follows: (i)Mohammed Bello Adokie, SAN<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Honourable Attorney-General of the\u00a0 \u00a0 Federation &amp; Minister of<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Justice-Chairman (ii)Senator Idris A. Umar Honourable Minister of<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Transport-Member (iii)Ambassador Bashir Yuguda Honourable Minister of<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">State for Finance-Member (iv)Mr. OsitaChidoka Honourable Minister of<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Aviation-Member (v)OloyeOlajumokeAkinjide Honourable Minister of State for<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Federal Capital Territory Administration- Member (vi)Architect Mike<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Onolememen Honourable Minister of Works-Member (vii)Senator Anyim Pius<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Anyim,GCON Secretary to the Government of the Federation-Member\/ Secretary<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3.Terms of Reference are as follows: (i)To study the Report of the 2014<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">National Conference. (ii)To articulate the recommendations therein and<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">develop appropriate strategies for its implementation. (iii)To advise<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Government on all matters necessary for the effective implementation of<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">the Report.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">4.The Committee is encouraged to take off immediately.
