{"id":30998,"date":"2014-09-08T13:31:41","date_gmt":"2014-09-08T12:31:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=30998"},"modified":"2014-09-08T13:31:42","modified_gmt":"2014-09-08T12:31:42","slug":"adamawa-atiku-hails-free-fair-apc-primaries-congratulates-bindo-jibrilla","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/adamawa-atiku-hails-free-fair-apc-primaries-congratulates-bindo-jibrilla\/","title":{"rendered":"Adamawa: Atiku hails free, fair APC primaries, congratulates Bindo Jibrilla"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Former Vice President and chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar has congratulated Senator Bindo\u00a0Jibrilla\u00a0\u00a0over his emergence weekend as the governorship candidate of the party in the October 11 governorship election in Adamawa State.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A statement signed by the media office of the former Vice President, on Monday, noted that the APC in Adamawa had by the conduct of a free, fair and transparent primaries devoid of any rancour signalled its intention to work together to wrestle power from the PDP in the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The former Vice President who voted in Jada Ward 1 in Jada Local Government Area of Adamawa called on the other contestants to rally support for Senator Bindow in the interest of party unity and dislodging the PDP in the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The\u00a0<em>Turaki<\/em>\u00a0Adamawa said that as a democrat, he has accepted the result of the APC primaries and urged other party members to follow suit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;As a democrat, I accept the outcome and ask all party members in the state to do the same.
