#000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Engineer, has sued the Sun Newspapers owned by the former Governor of the<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, claiming N5 billion for calling him &#8220;a<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">terrorist.&#8221;<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Briefing journalists yesterday in Umuahia, a member of the legal team for<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Orji&#8217;s son,\u00a0 Chief Chukwunyere Nwabuko, said the libelous publication was<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">contained \u201con page 21 of the March 10, 2014 edition of The Sun Newspapers<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">which read that &#8216;it is not a secret affair as his terrorist activities in<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">the state are fully documented&#8217; &#8220;.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Counsel said the former Governor had been using his media outfit to<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">publish malicious and libelous articles against Orji and his son who does<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">not even hold any position in government.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">He gave the suit number of the case filled at Abia State High Court<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">holding at Ohafia as HOH\/5\/2014, adding that Livy Uzorukwu (SAN) is the<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">lead counsel of Orji&#8217;s legal team.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nwabuko further said that the Presiding Judge, Justice Anthony Chioma, had<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">already granted an order for the defendant to be served out of<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">jurisdiction, adding that the matter is coming up for hearing next week,<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">September, 22.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The three point claims by the claimant\u00a0include: &#8220;The sum of N5,000,000,000<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">as damages for libel; An unreserved apology to be published in at least<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">three editions of the Daily Sun Newspapers; and An Order of perpetual<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">injunction restraining the defendants, their agents, privies, servants and<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">associates from further writing , printing , and publishing of the said<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">libelous matter or a similar one against the claimant .<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\"
