Gen. Benjamin Adekunle (rtd) describing him as one Nigerian who fought vehemently to keep the nation as a united and indivisible country.<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410608912874_22676\" style=\"color: #000000; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410608912874_22660\" style=\"color: #000000; text-align: justify;\">In a condolence message to the immediate family, government and the people of Oyo State, Senator Mark said the Ogbomosho born Retired General was a success in all ramifications of his military career.<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410608912874_22677\" style=\"color: #000000; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410608912874_22678\" style=\"color: #000000; text-align: justify;\">He recalled in nostalgia the role late Adekunle played during the Civil war, noting that, &#8220;He led the Third Marine Commando Division with such great panache and determination and precision.<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410608912874_22663\" style=\"color: #000000; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410608912874_22662\" style=\"color: #000000; text-align: justify;\">&#8220;He was a father, a brother, a substantive army General and a patriotic Nigerian.
