Secretary to Delta State Government, Comrade Ovuozorie Macaulay has
\ndescribed Mr. Tony Chuks Obuh as a near perfect gentleman who served the
\nstate diligently and deserves to be governor.<\/p>\n
Macaulay who is also the Supervisory Coordinator, Isoko Federal
\nConstituency, Project Obuh 2015, said Obuh \u201calways discharged his
\nresponsibilities with smiles on his face,\u201d noting that \u201che is someone you
\ncan trust with great responsibilities while you sleep, never tired and one
\nwithout complaints. He deserves to be governor.\u201d<\/p>\n
Comrade Macaulay who was speaking at Saint John the Baptist Catholic
\nChurch, Agbor for a thanksgiving mass for the voluntary retirement as
\nPermanent Secretary from Delta state civil service after 32 years of
\nmeritorious service by Mr. Tony Obuh, said at the last meeting of the G3
\n(comprising Ijaw, Itsekiri and Isoko) it was resolved that for equity,
\njustice and fair play, power should rotate to Delta North.<\/p>\n
Mr. Obuh who is an aspirant in the forthcoming governorship election while
\nspeaking, said what appears to be an impossible mission is ending
\ngraciously after 32 years, saying that he started the civil service in the
\nthen Bendel state as an administrative officer. The civil service work he
\nemphasized, gave him a new attitude to life and people, shaped and molded
\nhim and challenged him with responsibilities that made him strong.<\/p>\n
He lauded the State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan for the opportunity
\ngiven him to serve which had made him finished strong, saying that he
\nremained grateful to various Heads of Service he served under as they
\nimpacted positively in his life.<\/p>\n
While saying that he is in the open market, he solicited for total support
\nfor his next level of work, thanking God for finishing strong and for all
\nthat had happened to his life and family.<\/p>\n
Rev. Fr. Joseph Ugboh during the sermon said there is dignity in labour
\nand fulfillment for those that work actively in building the kingdom of
\nGod on earth. Consulting God through thanksgiving, the priest said there
\nis the need to put God first and God he noted cannot disappoint those that
\ncalled on him.<\/p>\n
Challenging Christians to always live a life of thanksgiving as every
\nauthority comes from God, Rev. Ugboh promised that the church would
\ncontinue to pray for the state and for Tony Obuh as he continues with his
\nconsultations to be the next governor of Delta State.<\/p>\n
It was a gathering of cr\u00e8me da la cr\u00e8me of personalities across Delta
\nState at the thanksgiving. The personalities included the wife of the

\nChief Peter Nwaoboshi, wife of Head of Service Delta State Mrs.
\nEvuarherhe, Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Basil Ganagana, Chief of Staff,
\nGovernment House, Dr. Festus Okubor, members of the State House of
\nAssembly, civil commissioners, retired Heads of Service, permanent
