Nigeria is a blessed country. God has blessed us with a lot of things, but how can we make use of these things? Do we really need somebody to lead us in a good way? These days the issue of bad leadership matters a lot. Almost every Nigerian is complaining. How can we get rid of these problems\u00a0 our leaders tell lies under oath and trust in deceitful words. They make promises and break them. I want to tell fellow Nigerians that we can’t get out of these problems if we did not settle down, keep the issue of religious, tribalism aside and have love for one another, unite and be under one umbrella. If we do not do this, there is no way we can have our problem solved.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Nigeria need good and God-fearing leader, who will work hard in raising the standard of living of the people, transform the society, enact policies that would give all Nigerians a sense of oneness. Some of the challenges of national integration and development in Nigeria include, economic crisis and poverty, unequal development, crisis of governance and poor political leadership.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Nigeria has a very big potentials to become one of the most powerful countries of the world, and for it to occupy such position, it must transform its system, integrate the people, grow the economy and fight poverty and hunger. There is no way you will become a good leader without seeking God wisdom Nigerians and the leaders should also allow God to direct the affairs of their governance towards a successful tenure. Sincerely, we Nigerians must create the atmosphere of trust, transparency, honesty and accountability in the spirit of the fear of God, otherwise it will remain where it is. We have to harness the God given abundant gifts of nature around us to make the country great. Our leaders have to learn and start taking decisions on what is best for the country rather than their self-serving interests. Unless and until, we address the challenges of leadership, the country can never move forward. Religious leaders in the country should not feel shy to address issues of bad leadership and also make their views heard. The leadership problem is the greatest obstacle, we face in the growth and development of this nation. We have half baked leaders who are not qualified to be class monitors; pompous leaders who cannot even rule themselves; selfish leaders who don\u2019t care about the people; charismatic leaders who have gone corrupt along the way; visionary leaders whose visions have been swallowed by the shady system. But if the entire leadership is willing to work together in unity and steer this country in the right direction, we will begin to see the change we need. We might enact laws, amend them, create commendable policies, adopt international standards but without the qualified leadership necessary to implement them, the kind of leadership that is willing to transform vision into realities for the good of all, we will keep running around in circles.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Finally let’s be wise with the kind of people we are voting people who will go and fold their arms and work for their self interest. This time “We Need A Leader”.<\/p>\n
Let’s Try Atiku Abubakar (Turaki) 2015<\/p>\n
He is a leader by example. He creates a lot of job opportunities for graduates and he is a man that fears God in all he is doing. Firstly let’s look who the man Atiku is; Atiku Abubakar Turaki Adamawa Former Vice-President (1999-2007)<\/p>\n
Date of Birth: 25\/11\/1946<\/p>\n
Education: Jada Junior Primary School 1954-57; Jada Senior Boarding Primary School, 1958-60; Adamawa Provincial Secondary School, Yola, 1961-65; School of Hygiene, Kano, 1966; Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, 1967-69; Cairo Police Academy, 1986.<\/p>\n
Career: Tax Officer, Northern Nigeria Ministry of Finance, 1966; various positions, Federal Civil Service, 1966-89; Governor, Adamawa State, 1999; Vice-President, 1999-2007.<\/p>\n
Commentary: Abubakar worked as a customs officer for twenty years, rising to the rank of Deputy Director before leaving in 1989 for politics and business. He became a leading political figure, helping Umaru Musa Yar’Adua found the People’s Democratic Front and running for Vice-President in the 1999 election alongside Olusegun Obasanjo, who he had played a major part in recruiting. They won re-election in 2003.<\/p>\n
Obasanjo and Abubakar had a spectacular disagreement after Abubakar resisted Obasanjo\u2019s attempt to change the constitution to allow him a third term in office. That’s why I call him a man who fears God and let’s again go through what he said on his twitter handle Mr. Abubakar stated this in a series of tweets on his twitter handle, @atiku, while discussing the need to prioritise job creation in Nigeria.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs an individual, I believe my record in employing young Nigerians is unrivalled by any single private investor in Nigeria #LetsTalkJobs,\u201d the former vice president said.<\/p>\n
Mr. Abubakar, who has investments in media, shipping, education, and other sectors, said he currently employs about 50,000 people in his companies in Nigeria.<\/p>\n
\u201cSince the mid-80s, my private investments have generated thousands of jobs for Nigeria \u2013 currently standing +50,000 jobs #LetsTalkJobs\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThis job conversation however should not be about me, but our youth \u2013 there\u2019s a dire need to create more jobs #LetsTalkJobs<\/p>\n
When I say #LetsTalkJobs<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m talking about the private sector. That\u2019s the most sustainable way to create jobs,\u201d<\/p>\n
The former vice president asked young Nigerians to ask the country\u2019s leaders what efforts were being made to create jobs.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen I ask young people to ask their leaders their record\/plans for jobs, I do not exclude myself #LetsTalkJobs,\u201d Mr. Abubakar said.<\/p>\n
He explained that as Vice President during the Olusegun Obasanjo administration (1999- 2007), he headed the economic team that spearheaded the job creation efforts of the government.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs VP & head of the economic team, I believed FG needed to create policy to drive sustainable private sector job creation #LetsTalkJobs<\/p>\n
\u201cThis private sector policy drove the GSM revolution (which I oversaw) \u2013 telecoms have created over 2 million jobs since 2002 #LetsTalkJobs<\/p>\n
\u201cThe young people now working in MTN, Airtel, Glo, Etisalat & many other telecoms firms, are there because of those policies #LetsTalkJobs<\/p>\n
\u201cThe expansion of Internet in Nigeria, & the young technology businesses now flourishing, is because of that telecoms policy #LetsTalkJobs,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He said his economic team also oversaw the banking reforms of the Obasanjo administration.<\/p>\n
\u201cI also oversaw the banking consolidation, giving us stronger banks, employing over 1000s of young people since the mid-2000s #LetsTalkJobs<\/p>\n
\u201cBy stabilizing the economy, and fixing debt, the economy was able to attract investment to create private jobs #LetsTalkJobs<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course I believe we could have done better, but in my short time in active govt, we built a foundation for job creation #LetsTalkJobs,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Fellow Nigerians Atiku is a a man who we can trust he did not change he can still do more than he did before.<\/p>\n
