Suntai says I am now an alcoholic, but very sick"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"color: #808080;\">Sick Taraba State Governor, Danbaba Suntai, has said he is very sick and is not fit to return as Governor of the state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #808080;\">Suntai who is recovering from a severe injury sustained from a plane crash, also expressed worry at his excessive intake of alcohol.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #808080;\">In this secret recording by Channels TV, Suntai whose speech was slurred , appear not too coherent, said he is addicted to alcohol.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #808080;\">\n<p style=\"color: #808080;\">Although it was not clear who was enabling his addiction, some of those sitted around him appeared to care less about his worry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #808080;\">\n<p style=\"color: #808080;\">His wife has however \u00a0been fingered as a selfish, power hungry and enabler of his addiction..<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #808080;\">\n<p style=\"color: #808080;\">Below is the transcript<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #808080;\">\n<p style=\"color: #808080;\">\n<div style=\"color: #808080;\">\n<p>CHANNELS<br \/>\nI am happy to meet you Your \u00a0Excellency<\/p>\n<p>SUNTAI<br \/>\nI am happy to receive u, and i believe my Governor has received u before me<\/p>\n<p>CHANNELS<br \/>\nWhat will be your message to Nigerians?<\/p>\n<p>SUNTAI<br \/>\nIf they can put all those things aside and attend to God, because God did not like what we are doing, but we are still doing it. God those not permit us to do bad deeds, but is unfortunate that we decided to listen to the devil in this case. it is very unfortunate that i am addicted to alcohol (to much drinking of beer)<\/p>\n<p>CHANNELS<br \/>\nAre you well enough to return to your office for the position of the executive governor of Taraba state?<\/p>\n<p>SUNTAI<br \/>\nWell i can tell you \u00a0it is well with me to return to my office simply because i want you to support me. But you know the truth i am not well at all to return to my office, as i am now.<\/p>\n<p>CHANNELS<br \/>\nBut with time will you pick up and be able to discharge your duties?<\/p>\n<p>SUNTAI<br \/>\nI know that i will pick up with time and be able to discharge my duties, but that will take some times. And i promise never to misbehave again.<\/p>\n<p>CHANNELS<br \/>\nFinally what will be your message to the people of Taraba state?<\/p>\n<p>SUNTAI<br \/>\nLet them try to leave according to the laws of God and that will definitely give them a very exciting life in this earth. But if you go outside from God laws you will just destroy your self, and this is what is happening to me.
