{"id":33127,"date":"2014-11-15T06:17:22","date_gmt":"2014-11-15T05:17:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=33127"},"modified":"2014-11-16T06:19:36","modified_gmt":"2014-11-16T05:19:36","slug":"nigerians-must-unite-boko-haram-says-colonel-umar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/nigerians-must-unite-boko-haram-says-colonel-umar\/","title":{"rendered":"Nigerians must unite on Boko Haram says Colonel Umar"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>For military Governor of Kaduna state, Colonel \u00a0 Abubakar Umar, has emphasized the urgent need for Nigerians to show unity of purpose by stopping all divisive recriminations as to which group of Nigerians is responsible for the emergence and support of BH.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>According to him in a statement &#8220;it \u00a0is not true that the Federal Government is behind the BH nor is anyone in the opposition behind it.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Umar \u00a0reiterated the need for a united action against Boko Haram insurgency<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>.He warned\u00a0 darkly in a statement on Thursday\u00a0 that was dangerous\u00a0 to feel unconcerned because Boko Haram activities\u00a0 are largely\u00a0 in the north eastern part of Nigeria now.<\/div>\n<div>\nHe\u00a0 further warned that if\u00a0 the sect was not checked ,it\u00a0 intends to use\u00a0 a\u00a0 conquered\u00a0 north east as a launch pad to invade\u00a0 the rest of Nigeria and\u00a0 possibly the entire West African sub region.\u201d<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;We need to understand that the war in northeast is a war against Nigeria.
