Muhammadu Buhari, says APC government will end current epileptic power
\nsupply in the country.<\/p>\n
Buhari told party supporters in Brinin Kebbi that \u201cending current
\nepileptic power supply will boost the economy and attract domestic and
\nforeign investment.\u201d<\/p>\n
He further said that, if elected, the administration would focus on the
\nprovision of employment to curtail youth restiveness and insecurity in the
\ncountry.<\/p>\n
\u201cI will revive mining industries and give loan to our businessmen and
\nwomen in such a way that our economy will emerge stronger than ever.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy administration would utilize resources prudently and end corruption
\nthrough intensified anti-corruption crusade; build schools, provide
\nmaterials and transportation for students,\u201d Buhari said.<\/p>\n
The APC candidate pledged to transform the health sector through the
\nprovision of modern equipment, qualified medical personnel and adequate
\ndrugs across the country.<\/p>\n
He noted the neglect of agriculture in the country, saying that the APC
\ngovernment would open up the sector, especially fishing and rice
\nproduction, to generate employment and boost rural economy.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will also be transparent and uphold trust and confidence entrusted in
\nus by Nigerians, if elected into power in the 2015 elections,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
In a remark, the APC gubernatorial candidate in the state, Alhaji Atiku
\nBagudo, assured that the people of the state would vote massively for the
\nparty.<\/p>\n
According to him, the People Democratic Party government has stagnated
\nprogress in the state and the people are yearning for change.<\/p>\n
Bagudo pledged to exploit the agriculture and mineral resources in the
\nstate to provide employment and generate revenue.<\/p>\n
NAN reports that the presidential campaign was held on Thursday at about
\n10:00 pm with large turn out of party supporters.(NAN)<\/p>\n
