\/>\nPresidential Campaign Organisation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has faulted a<br \/>\nsyndicated media report, which indicated that the Minister of Defence,<br \/>\nGeneral Aliyu Gusau said that General Muhammadu Buhari passed his<br \/>\nCambridge\/WASCE examination in 1961 and that they attended Katsina College<br \/>\ntogether.<br \/>\nFani-Kayode, in a statement issued yesterday in Abuja, said the report was<br \/>\npart of the opposition propaganda and desperate bid to cover the<br \/>\nwrongdoing of their presidential candidate whose integrity they have so<br \/>\nmuch flaunted.<br \/>\nAccording to him, \u201cIt has been brought to our attention that a number of<br \/>\nonline publications and newspapers have published a false story suggesting<br \/>\nthat General Aliyu Gusau, the Minister of Defence, has defended General<br \/>\nBuhari on the certificate issue and has said that they attended Katsina<br \/>\nCollege together. \u201cThis is pure falsehood and crass disinformation, and it<br \/>\nis indicative of the type of shameless desperation and propaganda that the<br \/>\nopposition are now indulging in.<br \/>\n\u201cNot only did General Gusau not attend any school with General Buhari or<br \/>\ngo to Katsina College but he has also never sought to defend or absolve<br \/>\nhim in the ongoing controversy about his school certificate.<br \/>\n\u201cWe urge the Nigerian people to be very wary of the antics of the<br \/>\nopposition when it comes to this and virtually all other matters; and, we<br \/>\nencourage them to continue to insist that General Buhari should stop<br \/>\nclutching at straws and prove that he is the man of integrity that he<br \/>\nclaims to be by producing his school certificate.\u201d<br \/>\nFani-Kayode said that, \u201canything less than that is simply unacceptable and<br \/>\nall the filthy lies, tricks and dirty tactics in the world cannot help<br \/>\nhim.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div
