Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has dispel rumours by critics that Buhari<\/p>\n
will Islamize Nigeria.<\/p>\n

He also said the issue was unnecessary as the nation\u2019s constitution had<\/p>\n
already guaranteed freedom of worship and association to all citizens in<\/p>\n
the country.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Amaechi stated this Tuesday during the state APC campaign tour to Emohua<\/p>\n
Local Government Area of the State.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
He warned Christian leaders commercializing the name of Jesus Christ in<\/p>\n
the church to desist forthwith as further perpetration could incite public<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
According to him, \u201cNobody can Islamize Nigeria. I also want to warn church<\/p>\n
leaders to stop commercializing the church of Jesus Christ.\u00a0 Especially,<\/p>\n
those men of God who collect money from the PDP to give false prophesy.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cIkwerre people and Emohua people need to stand by me because I have<\/p>\n
performed in Rivers State.\u00a0 You are expected to vote APC from the<\/p>\n
Presidential ticket to the governorship ticket.\u00a0 We shall all vote for<\/p>\n
General Muhammadu Buhari and Dr Dakuku Peterside because of the existing<\/p>\n
poverty level in the country and unemployment.\u00a0 We shall punish President<\/p>\n
Jonathan with our votes\u201d, Amaechi said.<\/p>\n

He noted that with the level of sensitization and commitment of Rivers<\/p>\n
people to the All Progressives Congress, (APC) political agenda, he was<\/p>\n
sure of victory for Buhari and Dakuku Peterside in the presidential and<\/p>\n
governorship polls respectively.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cI have seen victory and for the first time in the history of this<\/p>\n
country, the PDP is asking for the postponement of the February general<\/p>\n
elections.\u00a0 That is why we should vote for the APC\u201d, Amaechi said.<\/p>\n

The State Chief Executive also lambasted the PDP guber candidate, Chief<\/p>\n
Nyesom Wike on lack of leadership ideology, adding that as former<\/p>\n
Supervising Minister of Education he could not attract any developmental<\/p>\n
project in the Education Sector to the state.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
He equally called on the PDP flag bearer of Rivers East Senatorial<\/p>\n
District, Senator George Thompson Sekibo not to go against the zoning<\/p>\n
arrangement, stating that Rt. Hon. Andrew Uchendu of the All Progressives<\/p>\n
Congress, (APC) has already been zoned to take the slot in the upcoming<\/p>\n
February elections.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen Nyesom Wike was Supervising Minister of Education, instead of<\/p>\n
building schools, he was busy stealing money.\u00a0 He is the only man that I<\/p>\n
have met in my life that drinks a bottle of alcohol that costs N1.6<\/p>\n
million.\u00a0 I wonder what he would do if he enters office as Governor.\u00a0 The<\/p>\n
people of Ikwerre and Emohua have given their votes and support to George<\/p>\n
Thompson Sikibo on the platform of PDP twice.\u00a0 He cannot go against our<\/p>\n
zoning arrangement.\u00a0 This time, the slot is for Chief Andrew Uchendu\u201d,<\/p>\n
Amaechi explained.<\/p>\n

Earlier, at the University of Port Harcourt Choba where the APC campaign<\/p>\n
train met with thousands of students\u2019 supporters of APC,\u00a0 Amaechi assured<\/p>\n
that he will never relent in his efforts in promoting quality education<\/p>\n
for Nigeria youths.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am a graduate of Uniport and President Jonathan is also an Alumni of<\/p>\n
Uniport, but, the difference between us is that, I can perform without<\/p>\n
fleecing the people.\u00a0 I promise I will never disappoint my Alma mater.\u00a0 As<\/p>\n
a leader, I have erected a building for the English Department in Uniport<\/p>\n
and making preparations to build you a new auditorium.\u00a0 On that day of the<\/p>\n
election, I enjoin you all to urge other students on campus to massively<\/p>\n
vote for the All Progressives Congress for more dividends of democracy\u201d,<\/p>\n
Amaechi said.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Governor Amaechi embarked on a door-to-door campaign for the APC<\/p>\n
Presidential flag bearer, General Muhammadu Buhari and Dr Dakuku<\/p>\n
Adol-Peterside in Diobu axis of Port Harcourt.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
On his part, the Guber candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC Dr<\/p>\n
Dakuku Adol-Peterside said, he has mapped out three strategic policies to<\/p>\n
build a social contract with Rivers people if voted into power in the<\/p>\n
February general elections.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cI have three strategic policies to build a social contract with Rivers<\/p>\n
people.\u00a0 Firstly, all projects commenced by Governor Amaechi that were not<\/p>\n
completed will be completed in my administration.\u00a0 We shall also go ahead<\/p>\n
to lift the people of Emohua out of poverty, improve mechanized farming,<\/p>\n
support Agric extension services and build cottage industries.\u00a0 Internal<\/p>\n
security will be guaranteed to ensure that insecurity in Rumuekpe and Ibaa<\/p>\n
are controlled.\u00a0 APC supporters should be vigilant and execute their<\/p>\n
social contract by voting and monitoring the election results so that the<\/p>\n
future of our state will be secured\u201d, Dakuku said.<\/p>\n
