{"id":36842,"date":"2015-03-19T10:58:52","date_gmt":"2015-03-19T09:58:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=36842"},"modified":"2015-03-19T10:58:52","modified_gmt":"2015-03-19T09:58:52","slug":"card-readers-will-guarantee-credible-elections-gov-ahmed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/card-readers-will-guarantee-credible-elections-gov-ahmed\/","title":{"rendered":"Card readers will guarantee credible elections: Gov Ahmed"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mailview-right\" class=\"offset uibox\">\n<div id=\"messagecontent\">\n<div class=\"leftcol\">\n<div id=\"messagebody\">\n<div class=\"message-htmlpart\">\n<div class=\"rcmBody\">\n<div class=\"gmail_quote\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div class=\"gmail_quote\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed has said that the use of card readers during the forthcoming general elections will guarantee\u00a0credible elections as incidents of electoral malpractices will be checked.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Ahmed stated this when members of Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Producers Association (TAMPPA) paid him a solidarity visit at the Government House, Ilorin.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Ahmed who wondered why any democrat will oppose the use of card readers\u00a0in the forthcoming elections, said &#8220;card readers remain the only instrument that will guarantee credibility of the forthcoming elections as it ensures that there are no multiple votes. Why would any one\u00a0want multiple voting to take place?
