Kevin, Charlyn & Kimberly Associates, a UK based research and political
\nrisk consultancy firm has stated that incumbent President Goodluck
\nJonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party will win the 2015 Presidential
\nElection with a margin of 13 per cent (probability).<\/p>\n
The group which used both \u2018monkey survey\u2019 and \u2018Political Risk Index\u2019 to
\nforecast the Nigerian election projected a Jonathan\u2019s win if everything
\nremains constant.<\/p>\n
In a statement by Mr. O.C Vince, the Vice President of the firm for West
\nAfrica while addressing a press conference today in Abuja, explained that
\nthe firm has no partisan interest in the outcome of the election which is
\nleft for the people of Nigeria to decide.<\/p>\n
The company said it decided to conduct the survey because of the general
\nglobal interest the Nigeria election has generated. \u2018Many people around
\nthe world, including political leaders and investors are focusing on
\nNigeria to see how the process of democracy is managed\u2019.<\/p>\n
Mr. Vince said the ruling Peoples Democratic Party appear to be facing its
\ntoughest challenge in 16 years and hoped the efforts they have made will
\nhelp deepen and strengthen democracy in Nigeria and enable the different
\ncontending parties manage their final push toward 2015.<\/p>\n
