{"id":38913,"date":"2015-05-26T16:25:25","date_gmt":"2015-05-26T15:25:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=38913"},"modified":"2015-05-26T16:25:25","modified_gmt":"2015-05-26T15:25:25","slug":"you-have-a-tough-road-ahead-ibb-tells-buhari","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/you-have-a-tough-road-ahead-ibb-tells-buhari\/","title":{"rendered":"You have a tough road ahead,\u00a0 IBB tells Buhari"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1432652722284_2720\" class=\"base-card-body\">\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1432652722284_2694\" class=\"msg-body inner  undoreset\" tabindex=\"0\">\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1432652722284_2719\" class=\"email-wrapped\">\n<div id=\"yiv2112380084\">\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1432652722284_2791\" dir=\"ltr\">A former Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida has expressed serious worries over the current situation in the country.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1432652722284_2721\" dir=\"ltr\">IBB, as he\u2019s fondly called, stated that the current situation in the nation needed the intervention of all Nigerians to put all hands on deck with the incoming administration to salvage the situation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The ex-military boss, who was apparently referring to the ongoing fuel scarcity across the nation, however, said that the incoming administration should be ready to face several challenges.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1432652722284_2718\" dir=\"ltr\">He stated that Jonathan should not be seen as deliberately punishing the people, but rather as a trying period for any administration which would come and go.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Babangida made this observation during a farewell visit to the Niger State governor, Dr. Babangida Aliyu in Niger State on Monday.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The former leader, who was in company of former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, told journalists that he was worried and concerned just like any other Nigerian about the numerous problems confronting the country.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cI am as concerned about these problems as everyone is. I want Nigerians to support the incoming government in whatever measures it takes to provide solution to the problems on ground.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cGovernment is doing all it can to make sure these problems, come to an end.
