National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, and former Governor
\nof Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is alleged to have directed 50
\nSenators who attended a botched meeting at the International Conference
\nCenter, to go ahead and elect a Senate President.<\/p>\n
57 Senators had earlier elected Senators Bukola Saraki and Ike Ekweremadu
\nas Senate President and Deputy respectively.<\/p>\n
Sources told pointblanknews.com that Tinubu’s directive is primarily aimed
\nat causing a major crisis in the Senate to destabilize the leadership of
\nSaraki who is seen as a black sheep within the leadership of the APC.<\/p>\n
The 50 Senators were at the International Conference Center, ICC, waiting
\nfor President Buhari who never showed up when 49 Peoples Democratic Party,
\nPDP, Senators and Seven APC Senators elected its leadership.<\/p>\n
