Governor Udom Emmanuel has approved the appointment of Barr. Enobong
\nIkpong Etteh as the Secretary to the Technical Committee on the
\nRealization of Ibom Deep Seaport.<\/p>\n
Barr. Etteh who hails from Ukpenekang, Ibeno Local Government Area is a
\nforemost Labour Law expert with over two decades experience.<\/p>\n
Barrister Etteh graduated from the University of Cross Rivers State (now
\nUniversity of Uyo) in 1988 with LL.B (Hons) and was called to the Nigerian
\nBar in 1990. He worked with M.O Awoyemi & Co. for 7 years before
\nestablishing Enobong Etteh & Co. (now Rocheba Solicitors) with branches in
\nUyo and Abuja. His areas of expertise include Labour Law, Banking and
\nFinance, Investment Law, Commercial Law, among others.<\/p>\n
He is currently the Chairman, Labour and Employment Committee, NBA-SLP. He
\nis a member of the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates (SCMA),
\nNigeria, and the National Coordinator of the Campaign for Labour Lawyers
\nand a Member of the Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria.<\/p>\n
He is passionate and committed to the development of Labour Law in Nigeria
\nand was the publisher of the first-ever law report on labour law in
\nNigeria-The Nigerian Law Reports which is now the first specialized weekly
\nlaw report in Africa. He was also the arrowhead in the campaign for Labour
\nJustice Reforms drive for the Third Alteration to the 1999 Constitution of
\nNigeria. He has, since 2002, prosecuted reforms in labour law practice and
\nin the national industrial court.<\/p>\n
Barr. Etteh,\u00a0 who is widely traveled, enjoys preaching, praise and prayer.<\/p>\n
It\u00a0 would be recalled\u00a0 that Governor Emmanuel, in his determined effort to
\nfulfill his campaign promise of rapid industrialization of the state, had
\non\u00a0 June 11, 2015 inaugurated a 10-man Technical Committee for the
\nRealization of Ibom Deep Seaport\u00a0 with former Nigeria Maritime
\nAdministration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Director General, Barrister Mfon
