The presidency has denied reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has
\nnamed his chief of staff.<\/p>\n

Rumours emerged on Monday claiming that President Buhari has appointed
\nColonel Hamidu Ali as his Chief of Staff.<\/p>\n

The president\u2019s spokesperson, Femi Adesina, however said no appointment
\nhad been made.<\/p>\n

Buhari has been under pressure of late to announce his personal staff and
\ncabinet positions, one month after his inauguration.<\/p>\n

Also, reports that the President has ordered the Department of State
\nService (DSS) to arrest his wife\u2019s younger brother, Musa Yola, over
\nsuspicion of fraud, are untrue.<\/p>\n

Presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, denied the report stating that:
\n\u201cIt is definitely not true, there is no iota of truth in the report, there
\nis no basis for the president to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reports posted online said President Buhari ordered the DSS to arrest Mr.
\nYola after he duped a businessman N300 million promising to aid him
\nacquire an oil bloc.<\/p>\n

The reports also said Mr. Yola had refunded the money and that he was
\ngranted bail by the DSS.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
