{"id":40178,"date":"2015-07-05T04:21:34","date_gmt":"2015-07-05T03:21:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=40178"},"modified":"2015-07-05T04:21:34","modified_gmt":"2015-07-05T03:21:34","slug":"nff-sacks-keshi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/nff-sacks-keshi\/","title":{"rendered":"NFF sacks Keshi"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p class=\"yiv0808340730post-title\">The Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) \u00a0has terminated the appointment of Stephen Keshi as Head Coach of the Senior National Football Team, Super Eagles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>A statement by the NFF Executive Committee on Saturday said the decision was made, \u201chaving thoroughly reviewed the reports\/findings of the NFF Disciplinary Committee and NFF Technical and Development Committee, as well as having reviewed the actions and inactions of Mr. Stephen Keshi, in the performance of his duties as Super Eagles\u2019 Head Coach.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Federation said Keshi was found to \u201d lack the required commitment to achieve the Federation\u2019s objectives as set out in the Coach\u2019s employment contract.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201d To this end and pursuant to the provisions of Clause 4.3 of the Employment Contract between Mr. Stephen Keshi and the NFF (The Contract) and the various clauses therein, the Nigeria Football Federation has decided to exercise its option to summarily terminate the employment contract of Mr. Stephen Keshi with the Federation with immediate effect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nation sports<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) \u00a0has terminated the appointment of Stephen Keshi as Head Coach of the Senior National Football Team, Super Eagles.
