{"id":40702,"date":"2015-07-24T13:56:15","date_gmt":"2015-07-24T12:56:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=40702"},"modified":"2015-07-24T13:56:15","modified_gmt":"2015-07-24T12:56:15","slug":"stop-witch-hunt-of-sarakis-wife-senators-tell-efcc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/stop-witch-hunt-of-sarakis-wife-senators-tell-efcc\/","title":{"rendered":"Stop witch hunt of Saraki&#8217;s wife, Senators tell EFCC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1437730855113_32129\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Senators, under the aegis of \u2018Like Minds\u2019 have described decision of the anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), to invite the wife of the Senate President, Mrs Toyin Saraki, as pure \u2018witch-hunt.\u2019<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1437730855113_32184\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The senators in a statement signed on their behalf by Senator Dino Melaye stated that they hoped that the invitation of Mrs Saraki was not politically motivated or connected with the on-going leadership crisis in the Senate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The lawmakers said that the decision of the EFCC to invite Mrs. Saraki created a lot of coincidences, which any discerning mind would not ignore.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1437730855113_32193\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThough, we do not want to make any hasty conclusion, we are surprised that about five years after the Sarakis left Government House, Ilorin, the EFCC suddenly realised the need to invite the wife.
