The All Progressives Congress (APC), Monday shocked even some of its fans, when the party declared that President Muhammadu Buhari never promised ” to do anything” in his first 100 days in office.<\/p>\n

According to \u00a0party spokesman, Lai Mohammed ” Buhari never promised he was going to do anything in 100 days , that is the honest truth”<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Speaking on Channels TV, he said ” You see, when you are running a campaign all kinds of literature will emerge with all sorts of volunteer groups, but i came here and i said there are only two documents that you can judge a party with , that is the constitution of the party and the manifesto of the party ; those are the only two documents that are registered with INEC, you can go to court on or hold a party accountable for “<\/div>\n

Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu had echoed Mohammed when he said there is no where Buhari promised to fulfill some promises within 100 days.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
According to him the administration could not be judged by a series of activities withing the 100 days window.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Shehu , like Mohammed, \u00a0sidestepped the issue declaration of assets and disowned any document with Buhari’s promises.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He said ” There is a certain document tagged ‘One hundred things Buhari will do in 100 daysand the other ‘My covenant with Nigerians’ Both pamphlets bore the authorized party logo but as the Director of Media and Communications in that campaign , i did not fund or authorize any of those. I can equally bet my last kobo that Candidate Buhari did not see or authorize those publications”<\/div>\n
