As Investigation intensifies on the fraudulent activities of former\u00a0Petroleum Minister, Diezani Allison-Madueke, the woman has continued her\u00a0flamboyant lifestyle living in a Presidential Suit at the Landmark Hotel,\u00a0London at the cost of \u00a32,680.00 per night (about N800, 000.00),\u00a0pointblanknews.com investigation reveals.<\/p>\n

Landmark Hotel is located on 222 Marylebone Road, London and it is reputed\u00a0to be one of the most expensive hotels in England.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Allison-Madueke had left Nigeria shortly before President Mohammadu\u00a0Buhari was sworn-in under the guise of seeking medical attention. Sources\u00a0said her medical situation has been exaggerated as she is merely looking\u00a0for an escape route.<\/p>\n

Sources close to the former Minister told Pointblanknews.com that Mrs.\u00a0Allison-Madueke who now wears a low cut hair style to disguise her person,\u00a0spends her time at the Presidential suit from where she sends emissaries\u00a0to President Mohammadu Buhari to grant her some soft landing in the\u00a0current probe of her activities as Petroleum Minister under the President\u00a0Goodluck Jonathan\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n

The source who does not want to be named confirmed to Pointblanknews.com\u00a0that the once very Powerful Minister checked into the Hotel in May using\u00a0the name of one of her close aides for fear of being identified and\u00a0monitored.<\/p>\n

Pointblanknews.com could not ascertain the name of the aide used to check\u00a0into the Landmark Hotel because the source fears it could expose the exact\u00a0room the former Minister has been staying since June.<\/p>\n

\u201cI cannot give you the exact name she used or the room number but believe\u00a0me, she has been at the Presidential Suit of Landmark Hotel since June. I\u00a0have been there severally and I have seen her there too,\u201d the source told\u00a0Pointblanknews.com.<\/p>\n

According to the source, \u201cif you don\u2019t know Diezani before, you will never\u00a0recognize her. She has changed her looks, she now wears low cut hair and\u00a0not very down to earth. She would see anyone who can help her reach Buhari \u00a0because she is so worried and depressed about the probe of her stewardship\u00a0as Minister.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pointblanknews.com gathered that most of her cronies and those who\u00a0benefitted from the oil swap deals which is a subject of investigation\u00a0have had series of meetings with her at the hotel, building up possible\u00a0defenses ahead of the investigation.<\/p>\n

As minister of Petroleum Resources under President Jonathan, Mrs.\u00a0Alison-Madueke became one of the most powerful Nigerian government\u00a0officials. Several reports have linked her to sleazy oil deals and a\u00a0penchant for wastage of public funds.<\/p>\n

She allegedly spent some N2 billion on private jet rentals, according to\u00a0the petition submitted to the EFCC by Enugu-based \u201cCrusader For Good\u00a0Governance.\u201d The petition was signed by Okechukwu Obiora Nnamdi, the\u00a0group\u2019s leader.<\/p>\n

The group accused Mrs. Alison-Maduekwe of spending $300,000 on an average\u00a0international trip outside of Nigeria. She reportedly spends as much as\u00a0$500,000 on trips to such destinations as China, Malaysia and several
\nNorth American countries, according to the petition. The petitioners\u00a0listed some of the minister\u2019s most lavish trips.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 During Easter break, she flew a private jet to Dubai with members of her\u00a0family at the cost of $300,000.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 During President Jonathan\u2019s visit to South Africa, she flew in a private\u00a0jet that cost Nigeria $300,000.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), a government agency\u00a0she oversees, maintains a \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Challenger 850 Visa jet which serves the\u00a0minister\u2019s needs as well as those of her family. The cost of running the
\njet is $500,000 per month.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ms. Allison-Madueke went to a meeting of the Oil Producing and Exporting\u00a0Countries (OPEC) in Austria in a private jet.<\/p>\n

In addition, the petitioners alleged that, for two years, the Petroleum\u00a0minister never attended any meeting outside Nigeria in a commercial jet or\u00a0in any of the jets maintained by the Nigerian Presidency. They stated that\u00a0she had wasted more than N2 billion on the maintenance of aircraft in the\u00a0last two years.<\/p>\n

They accused her of being the only minister who consistently uses private\u00a0jets to arrive at destinations when the Nigerian president travels abroad.<\/p>\n

The petition also carpets Mrs. Allison-Madueke for often doing official\u00a0jobs out of her house, which means that she is frequently absent from her\u00a0official desk at the ministry.<\/p>\n

As alleged in the petition to the EFCC, Mrs. Alison-Madueke also\u00a0frequently uses the services of Vista Jet, a Swiss luxury aviation company\u00a0that provides jets to wealthy businessmen around the world. Vista Jet has\u00a0done deals with such Nigerians as Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom\u00a0State and Nduka Obaigbena, the flamboyant publisher of Thisday newspaper.<\/p>\n

Curiously, Vista Jet has a Nigerian businessman, Kola Aluko, on its board.Mr. Aluko, who once acted as Vista Jet\u2019s West African representative, is\u00a0known to be close to Ms. Alison-Madueke.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Kola] Aluko and Mrs. Diezani Allison-Madueke are neck deep in the oil\u00a0business,\u201d said a source at the NNPC. \u201cShe helped him [Mr. Aluko] to land\u00a0a choice allocation of pricey oil blocks through a company called Seven\u00a0Energy,\u201d added the source.<\/p>\n

In a petition sent to the Nigerian Senate by the Delta Producing\u00a0Communities, Ms. Alison-Madueke is accused of transferring the ownership\u00a0of four oil mining licenses (OML), 30, 34, 26 and 42, to Atlantic Energy\u00a0Drilling Concept which belongs to Mr. Omokore.<\/p>\n
