{"id":43387,"date":"2015-11-02T23:05:14","date_gmt":"2015-11-02T22:05:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=43387"},"modified":"2015-11-02T23:05:14","modified_gmt":"2015-11-02T22:05:14","slug":"customs-gets-six-new-dcgs-eight-acgs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/customs-gets-six-new-dcgs-eight-acgs\/","title":{"rendered":"Customs gets\u00a0 Six new DCGs, Eight ACGs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">The Nigeria Customs Service,\u00a0 has\u00a0 six acting Deputy Comptrollers-General of Customs in the ongoing re organisation in the Service.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The six Officers, who are of the rank of Assistant Comptroller-General, will occupy the positions of Deputy Comptrollers-General in acting capacity.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A statement by the Public Relations Officer of the NCS, Wale Adeniyi, said the changes take immediate effect.<br \/>\nAdeniyi added in the statement: \u201cThe Comptroller-General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ali urged the newly-appointed Officers to redouble their efforts to justify their new responsibilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Those appointed are: ACG Idris Suleiman (Finance Administration and Technical Service), ACG Iya Umar (Tariff and Trade), ACG Dan Ugo (Enforcement Investigation and Inspection), ACG Grace Adeyemo (Excise, FTZ &amp; Industrial Incentive), ACG Austin Warikoru (Human Resource Development) and ACG Paul Ukaigwe (Strategic Research and Policy).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Eight Comptrollers were similarly announced to occupy the positions of Assistant Comptrollers-General created in the exercise.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">They are to occupy the new offices in acting capacity.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">They are Comptroller Umar Sanusi mni (ACG Headquarters), Comptroller Funsho Adegoke (ACG ICT), Comptroller Mohammed Abbas (ACG Board), Comptroller Olatunji Aremu mni (Command &amp; Staff College), Comptroller Charles Edike (Zonal Coordinator Zone \u2018A\u2019), Comptroller Abubakar Dangaladima (Zonal Coordinator Zone \u2018B\u2019), Comptroller Azarema Abdulkadir (Zonal Coordinator Zone \u2018C\u2019) and Comptroller Chidi Augustine (Zonal Coordinator Zone \u2018D\u2019).<br \/>\nSeven Officers are equally redeployed in the new exercise.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">They are ACG Adesina Odunmbaku (Finance and Technical Service), ACG Robert Alu (Tariff and Trade), ACG Ade Dosumu (Enforcement and Drugs), ACG Monday Abueh mni (Excise &amp; Industrial Incentive), ACG Ahmed Mohammed (Human Resource Management), ACG Patience Iferi (Strategic Research and Policy) and Comptroller Aminu Abba (Technical Services).<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Nigeria Customs Service,\u00a0 has\u00a0 six acting Deputy Comptrollers-General of Customs in the ongoing re organisation in the Service.
