{"id":43985,"date":"2015-11-22T13:10:58","date_gmt":"2015-11-22T12:10:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=43985"},"modified":"2015-11-22T13:10:58","modified_gmt":"2015-11-22T12:10:58","slug":"bauchi-gov-approves-n55m-for-quran-recitation-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/bauchi-gov-approves-n55m-for-quran-recitation-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Bauchi Gov Approves N55m for Qu\u2019ran Recitation Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1448193972765_2193\" class=\"base-card-body\">\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1448193972765_2186\" class=\"msg-body inner  undoreset\" tabindex=\"0\">\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1448193972765_2192\" class=\"email-wrapped\">\n<div id=\"yiv1769770062\">\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1448193972765_2202\" dir=\"ltr\">Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State has approved N55m for the 30th edition of the state\u2019s Qur\u2019anic recitation Competition.<br \/>\nSpeaking at the event being held at katagum, headquarters of Zaki local government Area (LGA) of the State, Governor Abubakar said N38.4 million is for logistics while N16.9 Million is released to the 20 Local government areas of the state to aid their preparations at council level.<br \/>\nAccording to him, education of the younger generation is the collective responsibilty of the government, Islamic teachers as well as parents.<br \/>\nThe Governor expressed the commitment of his\u00a0\u00a0 adminstration is to improving the education sector of the State, adding that education is his top priority.<br \/>\nHe said the state government will provide adequately for education in the 2016 budget to reflect his total commitment .<br \/>\nHe thereby enjoined all the partiapants in the competition to put in their best so that Bauchi can be well represented at the National and international competitions.<br \/>\nThe Governor urged the judges to be fair and just in carrying out the duties entrusted to them adding that they should conduct the competition in line with the rules and regulations of the contest so as to promote Islamic teachings.<br \/>\nDaily Independent<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"base-card-clear\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State has approved N55m for the 30th edition of the state\u2019s Qur\u2019anic recitation Competition.
