The Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused Gov. Rochas Okorocha of misusing funds meant for the development of the local councils in the state.<\/p>\n
In a press statement signed by the state Publicity Secretary,Chief Blyden Amajirionwu, the party called on Imolites to ask questions on the use of allocations to the 27 local councils in the past three months.<\/p>\n
The statement further alleged that it was unbecoming of a party that boasts of rescuing the people to have abandoned the local councils to be overgrown with weeds.<\/p>\n
No activity of government has taken place in any of the 27 local councils for the past three months as civil servants in the councils are invited to Dan Anyiam Stadium for the payment of their salaries,\u009d PDP alleged.<\/p>\n
The statement further described Okorocha’s government in the state as a disaster.<\/p>\n
