The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has cancelled the<\/p>\n
election in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area in the Saturday\u2019s Bayelsa
\nState governorship election.<\/p>\n
INEC said the decision was taken because of violence, the abduction of
\nelectoral officials and ballot box snatching. More details soon<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, results so far announced by the Independent National Electoral
\nCommission, INEC, at the Bayesla Governorship elections shows the Peoples
\nDemocratic Party, PDP, leading the All Progressive Congress, APC.<\/p>\n
PDP\u2019s Seriaki Dickson is leading in six Local Governments out of the Seven
\nLocal Governments announced so far by the INEC.<\/p>\n
