\nPresident Muhammadu Buhari has said that one of the best exhortations to
\nthe nation\u00a0 he has heard from the pulpit was the one made early this year
\nby\u00a0 Father Ejike Mbaka of the Adoration Ministries, Enugu.<\/p>\n

Receiving Father Mbaka who was on a courtesy call at State House, Abuja on
\nFriday,\u00a0 President Buhari expressed his appreciation of the Catholic
\npriest’s exemplary courage.<\/p>\n

“Thank you very much for what you have done and said. It brought you out
\nto the whole country as a man of courage. It was honest and well
\ndelivered. It has gone into the records as one of the best concerns
\nexpressed from the pulpit, not because it favoured me and my party, the
\nAll Progressives Congress, but because it was good for the country, ” the
\nPresident told Father Mbaka.<\/p>\n

President Buhari reaffirmed his conviction\u00a0 that change will come to the
\ncountry, “with a lot of hard work, despite the security and economic
\nproblems.” He appealed for\u00a0 the continued\u00a0 understanding and patience of
\nNigerians.<\/p>\n

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who was present at the President’s audience
\nwith Father Mbaka described the priest\u00a0 as a man “who stood for truth and
\npropriety, and declared corruption unacceptable.”<\/p>\n

He added that the Buhari administration “is committed to truth and
\njustice, and won’t encourage corruption in any way.”<\/p>\n

Fr. Mbaka, who in the run up to the 2015 presidential election,\u00a0 told his
\nteeming followers that erstwhile President Goodluck Jonathan would not be
\nre-elected because of pervading corruption and insecurity in the land,
\nsaid he was happy with the mission and methodology of the Buhari
\nadministration.<\/p>\n

He also wished the President a happy 73rd birthday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
