\nBut, President Buhari told the nation during presidential media chat that he had expressed his displeasure over the issue during a closed-door meeting with the NASS members, saying he hoped they would not go ahead.
\nHe recalled turning down a proposal to purchase cars worth N400 million for the Presidency, saying National Assembly should take a cue from that.
\nOn the proposal to buy vehicles worth N400 million for the Presidency, he had this to say, \u201cI said the cars I have are good enough for 10 years.
\n\u201cI had a closed-door meeting with the National Assembly regarding the cars they are trying to buy.
\n\u201cI hope they haven\u2019t bought them yet.
