President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has approved the appointment of Mr.<\/p>\n
Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah as the new Chairman\/Chief Executive Officer of
\nthe National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).<\/p>\n
The appointment which takes effect from January 11, 2016, is for a first
\ntenure of five (5) years.<\/p>\n
Mr Abdallah replaces Mrs Roli Bode-George who has been calling the shots
\nin acting capacity after the retirement of Mallam Ahmadu Giade.<\/p>\n
Mr. Abdallah, a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the Nigeria Army, has a
\nCertificate of Education from Nigeria Defence Academy in 1977, a
\nBachelor\u2019s Degree in American Politics and Government from Sam Houston
\nState University, Huntville, Texas, USA in 1989, an M. A. Public
\nAdministration, LLB and LLM Degrees from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria
\n2005 and 2011 respectively and Bachelor of Law from the Nigeria Law School
