{"id":46082,"date":"2016-01-31T19:44:32","date_gmt":"2016-01-31T18:44:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=46082"},"modified":"2016-01-31T19:44:32","modified_gmt":"2016-01-31T18:44:32","slug":"buhari-urges-nigerians-to-join-the-war-against-boko-haram","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/buhari-urges-nigerians-to-join-the-war-against-boko-haram\/","title":{"rendered":"Buhari Urges Nigerians To Join The War Against Boko Haram"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Muhammadu Buhari <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_103526459\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Sunday<\/span><\/span> in Abuja called on all Nigerians,<br \/>\nespecially those that are resident in areas previously ravaged by<br \/>\nterrorists, to be more vigilant and ready to work with security operatives<br \/>\nin ending the war against insurgency.<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to the spate of suicide bombings in Chibok market, Dolari<br \/>\nInternally Displaced Person\u2019s (IDP) camp in Borno State and the Gombi<br \/>\nmarket in Adamawa State, President Buhari said the insurgents had suffered<br \/>\nimmensely from the sustained bombardments of their camps and hide outs by<br \/>\nthe Nigerian military and had resorted to using desperate measures to gain<br \/>\ncheap media attention.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I urge all citizens wherever they live to own the war against terror and<br \/>\nto be part of the fight because it is the only way we can finish the<br \/>\nremaining work that needs to be done to make our country safe again,&#8221; the<br \/>\nPresident said.<\/p>\n<p>President Buhari said the terrorists had been rendered weak, confused and<br \/>\nhomeless after repeated bombings and ravaging of their camps and hide outs<br \/>\nby the military, forcing them to find their way back into the society to<br \/>\nwreak havoc, like the case of the Dolari IDP.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Having lost the war, they are seeking ways and means to gradually find<br \/>\ntheir way back into society. They are not returning to contribute but to<br \/>\ncause more havoc.
