Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has pledged to improve on the<\/p>\n
welfare of students in the state, declaring that all people of the
\nstate have made a collective choice to always stand by the Peoples
\nDemocratic Party, PDP.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the Government House, Port Harcourt when he granted
\naudience to the members of the National Union of Rivers State
\nStudents, NURSS, on Monday, Governor Wike said that the students of
\nthe state and other stakeholders are supportive of the PDP because of
\nits pro-people agenda.<\/p>\n
The governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government,
\nChief Kenneth Kobani thanked the students for celebrating his victory at
\nthe Supreme Court.<\/p>\n
Governor Wike advised them not to allow themselves to be misled, but take
\ntheir studies seriously describing them as the future of the state and the
\nnation.<\/p>\n
According to him, very soon government will take some practical steps to
\nimprove their welfare as a way of reciprocating their love.<\/p>\n
The students chanted solidarity songs and congratulated Governor Wike on
\nhis victory at the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n
They passed a vote of confidence on him assuring him of their readiness to
