Abiodun Faleke who turned down the offer of Deputy<\/p>\n<p>The allegation was contsined in a statement\u00a0 signed by a\u00a0 Chieftain of the party,\u00a0 Mallam Abdullahi Kabiru,<\/p>\n<p>According to him, \u201cIn the past days, Atiku, according to our dependable sources has been pulling the strings with a view to ensuring that Simeon Achuba becomes Governor Yahaya Bello\u2019s Deputy, and that this has led to massive rancour in the leadership of APC in Kogi State\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The APC Chieftain alleged that \u2018\u2019We are conscious of Atiku Abubakar\u2019s moves to impose on us Simeon Achuba as our next Deputy Governor, but I can assure you that we are not going to cave into that.<\/p>\n<p>Again we\u2019re also not unmindful that lots of resources have been deployed in the past few days, including millions of naira to bribe people into buying the idea of Achuba becoming the next Deputy Governor of Kogi State, but let me say with all emphasis at my disposal that all these clandestine moves shall end up in vain\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The All Progressives Congress ( APC ),\u00a0 in Kogi State has accused Atiku Abubakar of trying to impose his crony as deputy Governor.
