\nGovernor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal is a young and energetic man that has

\na more dynamic economic vibrant Sokoto State. Governor Tambuwal inherits

\nCaliphate. Sokoto bequeathed to the nation a system of Indirect Rule. It
\nwas a system deduced from well grounded education system as transmitted
\nby Sheikh Shehu Usmanu Dan Fodiyo, the founder of Sokoto Caliphate.
\nOn assumption of office Governor Tambuwal took education as a top

\nState indigenes studying in various tertiary institutions outside the
\ncountry. Recently our amiable Governor authorized release of close to N1
\nbillion to settle tuition fees of tertiary education students from the
\nstate. This is aimed at encouraging students to concentrate in their
\nstudies.
\nThe administration of Governor Tambuwal in its employment drive is now
\npositioned to provide means to absorb the emerging human resource to
\ncontribute to the growth of Sokoto economy. His Excellency, Rt Hon. Aminu
\nWaziri Tambuwal is now reaching out to industrialists to invest to tap
\nnatural resources abundant in the State. Through this means the economy
\nshall grow through multiplier effect to employ the youth, and also
\ncontribute to the growth of the national economy. Recently the
\nadministration signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ericson
\nNigeria Limited to establish tractor assembly and tomato processing
\nindustries in the State. It is a good step towards boosting the economy
\ntowards more private sector-driven. More of such efforts shall indeed
\nopen up the economy of the state and deepen its internal revenue
\ngeneration capacity.
\nA secure environment guarantees economic and social growth. Conscious of
\nthis fact Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal\u2019s administration descended
\nheavily against the violent prone activities of the youth that
\nconstituted nuisance and scare to potential investors. Indeed, the stern
\neffrontery of the administration has doused any palpable tension usually
\nassociated with youth violent activities. Sokoto has once again reclaimed
\nits known image of peaceful town and religious beam to all conscionable
\npersons. The youth must be engaged positively to make them self-reliant.
\nThe poverty reduction policy of the administration is youth centred.
\nGovernment has articulated comprehensive program of skills acquisition
\nand well packaged settlement strategies that shall empower the youth to
\nself-reliance. The education policy of the administration is targeted at
\nthe youth. If the youth are driven into acquisition of adequate education
\nand subsequent well paying employment violent activities shall definitely
\nbecome less attractive. The administration is set to sustain responsible
\ncitizens among the youth.
\nMuch of the diseases prevalent in the society are air borne. Filthy
\nenvironment contaminates the air which becomes effective and fast means
\nof disease circulation. Governor Tambuwal within a few weeks of
\nassumption of office after personally driven round some parts of Sokoto
\nmetropolitan observed the dirty nature of the town due to rapid expansion
\nwhich has created satellite areas and therefore refuse evacuation
\nmanagement poses some daunting task. His Excellency quickly stepped in to
\nprovide every needed support to empower Sokoto Environmental Protection
\nAgency (SEPA) under Ministry of Environment to clean up the entire city

\nGovernor Tambuwal has sustained payment of salaries regularly to the
\ncivil servants in the state. Recently, Governor Tambuwal released N2.6
\nbillion to settle entitlements of pensioners in the state. It was
\nsymbolic motivation to civil servants for greater commitment to the
\nservice of Sokoto State.\u00a0 A well motivated workforce steps up
\nproductivity. Governor Tambuwal is set to exploit this strategy maximally
\nin the interest of the state. The administration of Governor Tambuwal is
