The National Chairman of the APC,\u00a0 John Oyegun Tuesday said the head of agencies and parastatals were fired\u00a0 because they were sabotaging President Muhammadu Buhari led government<\/p>\n
Odigie-Oyegun disclosed this while fielding questions from State House correspondents after a meeting between some members of the APC National Working Committee and the President.<\/p>\n
, \u201cAPC members were not concerned about the positions, we are concerned about the internal sabotage that is going on in a lot of the PDP-filled positions which are critical to our national growth and development.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is happening in INEC, it is happening in a lot of other institutions and that is what the concern of the party is, not necessarily taking over.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe should take over and they should be people who believe in the change agenda, we have no apologies for that at all.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe just came to pay our respect to our President, and praise him on things that are going on. We also raised our concerns on one or two issues and altogether we had a very pleasant and rewarding meeting.\u201d<\/p>\n
On the controversial budget\u00a0 he said \u201cThere is absolutely no confusion. This is a serious issue.
\n\u201cI want you to please understand the complications that come from adjusting a structure from over 40 ministries to just over 20 ministries and the necessary adjustments of figures and movements of institutions that, that entails.
